Travel in Vietnam
is in its relative infancy; but by making use of the modern
fleet of Vietnam Airlines and modern air-conditioned vehicles
we can make your travel as easy as possible - if that is what
you want.
 |
If you want
to be a bit more adventurous then you can try a variety
of modes of travel.
- The Reunification
Express runs from Hanoi to Saigon, and is a microcosm
of life in Vietnam. It is slow and fairly uncomfortable,
but an experience in itself.
- When
you arrive at your destination, take a ‘cyclo’— a
three-wheeled rickshaw with a seat in the front and
a driver peddling behind.
- Wherever
you go you will see dozens of bicycles and Honda Motorbikes,
often carrying a whole family.
- Vietnam
is a wet country and there is a wide range of water
transport. In some places, such as Tam Coc-Bich Dong,
you can even be a passenger in a boat propelled by
someone using their feet! In Hoi
An people still fish in the sea using coracle
boats.
