7 Day Tour (North-South)
Day
1: HANOI. Arrive Hanoi. Afternoon of leisure.
Day 2: HANOI. Full day sightseeing around Hanoi
visiting the many Pagodas, Temple of Literature and
tour of the old parts of the City.
Day 3: HANOI - DANANG. Fly to the coastal town
of Danang. Visit the Marble Mountain and drive to ancient
port of Hoi An.
Day 4: HUE. Drive to the ancient Imperial City
of Hue. Situated on the Perfume River, it is of major
interest because of the Royal Mausoleums and Pagodas.
Day 5: HUE - HO CHI MINH CITY. We leave Hue and
fly to Ho Chi Minh. In the afternoon we take a boat
trip along the Saigon River.
Day 6: HO CHI MINH CITY. Full day sightseeing
around Ho Chi Minh City, visiting the old Presidential
Palace. Museum. China Town Markets and Temples.
Day 7: HO CHI MINH CITY. Transfer to airport.

Day 2: All day tour of the main positions, gun lines,
HQ and outlying positions.
Day 3: Visit nearby market before the return flight

Drive
to Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Vietnam between 968 to 1010
AD. Most of this site was destroyed but there are a couple
of temples to visit and a boat trip along the Hoang Long river
set amongst some stunning scenery.

Cuc
Phuong National Park
Drive
to this large nature reserve, established in 1962, which embraces
a wide variety of flora, insects, animals and reptiles as
well as a species of monkey found nowhere else. Time to walk
and explore some of the park and the captive monkey breeding
program. Return to Hanoi.

Hoa
Binh
A day
trip to this interesting province inhabited by ethnic Muong,
Black Thai and Hmong tribes. Here they continue their life
styles as they have done for centuries farming, hunting, weaving
and panning for gold. The landscape is dramatic and the different

Tam
Dao Hill Station
Built
by the French in 1907, this hilltop town is a highland retreat
where the colonials sought relief in the hottest summer months.
The surrounding environment has remained fairly pristine —
a series of wooded peaks offering hiking amid giant ferns
and wild orchids, and visits to hilltribe hamlets. Tam Dao
is about 85 km (53 miles) Northwest of Hanoi and is home to
many endangered species of birds and mammals.
