5 day Classic Burma tour

Day 1: YANGON - Transfer to hotel. Lunch is followed by sightseeing tour to include the old colonial-style city centre, Karaweik Hall, Shwedagon Pagoda, Chauk Htat Gyi. a huge reclining Buddha image and the gilded Sule Pagoda, dating hack over 2000 years.
Day 2: MANDALAY Flight to Mandalay. Transfer to Amarapura, visit Mahagandayon, a famous Buddhist monastery, continue to 200 year old U Bein teak bridge. Visit Bagaya Monastery, before returning to Mandalay. After lunch, proceed on a comprehensive sightseeing tour. Watch sunset from Mandalay Hill.
Day 3: MANDALAY - BAGAN. After breakfast an early start is made for the drive (300 km - 8 hours) by road to Bagan with rest stop at Meiktila. Continue to Mount Popa, an extinct volcano with its shrine dedicated to animist spirits, known as "nats". Drive on to Bagan and arrive in time to watch sunset from the Bupaya Pagoda.

Day 4: BAGAN After breakfast a full day of sightseeing, including a diverse selection from the most important pagodas and temples. Dinner at a riverside restaurant with a display of local Burmese puppetry.
Day 5: YANGON - DEPARTURE. Morning flight to Yangon and onward flight.
