Running down the western coast of the Gulf of Thailand is a

Royal Family began visiting the area and subsequently built

beaches, several international golf courses near by and a quiet

Ko Samed
Island
Ao
Prao Resort is located on Samed Island just 2 hours
drive east of Bangkok or only an hour from Pattaya.
Ko Samed is a national park and is fringed with beaches
and coral.
Ao
Prao Beach is on the secluded west side of the island
but still within easy reach of the more lively east
side. Since 1994, the Ao Bran Resort has never stopped
developing and improving its range of accommodation
and services and today offers a choice of secluded bungalows,
beach cottages and suites dotted on a gentle slope blending
with tropical gardens and leading to a silk sandy beach.
As
well as relaxing on the beach, we have the only PADI
registered dive school on the island, where you can
learn to dive on the coral reef. There is a beachside
bar and restaurant that offers quality food and buffets.
It is the perfect place to watch the sunset.
Ao
