PROGRAM DOWN:
From 01 November to 30 April, departs every Monday, Thursday & Friday
From 01 May to 30 September, departs every Monday & Friday (except from 01-30 June, no operation)

Day 1: HOUEI SAY - PAKBENG (L, D)
LuangSay boat leaves HoueiSay pier at 09:00 hrs for a cruise down the Mekong to Pakbeng. En route several stops are made to observe rural life along the Mekong and discover minorities, a buffet lunch on board. Arrive Pakbeng before sunset and check-in at LuangSay Lodge. Dinner on the terrace, overlooking the Mekong River.
Day 2: PAKBENG - PAK OU - LUANG PRABANG (B, L)
Full breakfast at lodge. (Optional: walk to Pakbeng market, where people from the surrounding village of minorities exchange their goods). At 08:30 board the boat for the second leg of the cruise. A short stop to discover a Hmong village before having buffet lunch on board. Continue to Pak-Ou village at the mouth of the Nam Ou River, visit Tam Ting "Caves of a thousand Buddha's". On the way to Luang Prabang a brief stop is made to observe the traditional process of obtaining local rice alcohol. Arrive at Luang Prabang before sunset.

From 01 May to 30 September, departs every Saturday & Wednesday (except from 01-30 June, no operation)

Day 1: LUANG PRABANG - PAK OU - PRABANG (L, D)
Your boat leaves Luang Prabang pier at 07:30 hrs for a cruise up the Mekong to Pakbeng. Stop at Pak-Ou village at the mouth of the Nam Ou River; visit Tam Ting "Caves of a thousand Buddha's". Stop at a fishing village for picnic lunch and observe traditional process to obtain local rice alcohol. Arrive at Pakbeng before sunset and check in at LuangSay Lodge. Dinner on the terrace, overlooking the Mekong River.
Day 2: PAKBENG - HOUEISAY (B, L)
Full breakfast at lodge. (Optional: walk to Pakbeng market, where people from the surrounding villages of minorities exchange their goods). At 08:00hrs board the boat for the second leg of the cruise. Having a buffet lunch on board. Continue to HoueiSay where you will arrive before 17:00 hrs (you may proceed to Chiang Rai in the same day).
