Grand Asia Tour
|
It was
once the height of fashion to embark on the grand tour, to
visit far away countries of the empire in style and comfort.
Many of the famous colonial hotels that once hosted dignitaries
and even royalty can still be found today. Restored to their
original splendour they not only offer an air of history but
also the finest service and facilities that make many of them
the best in the world.
Transport
in the days of the empire was at a slower pace but with great
style and today some of the original routes can still be travelled
in classical train carriages and boat cabins. It is now possible
to embark on a journey of a lifetime on the Grand Asian Tour
through past colonies of the British and French empires and
once again enjoy the opulence of legendary hotels and classical
river and train journeys.
