Golf in Burma
is a relatively new sport but there are a number of reasonable 9
and 18 hole courses constructed around the country.
There are 18
holes Golf Courses in Yangon (City Golf Resort), in Bagan (Bagan
Nyaung Oo Golf Club), in Mandalay (Mandalay Hill Golf Course) and
in Taunggyi (Aye Thar Yar Golf Course). There are also 9 hole Courses
at Mt. Popa & Ngapali beach. These Golf Courses are suitable
for visitors to play and are built to an international standard.

Golf Packages for clients at the following Golf Courses which include
hotel-golf club-hotel transfers with English Speaking escort, car
& driver, green fees for 18 holes, caddy fees, locker, shower
& change room facilities. Our escort, driver & vehicle will
standby at the club for client's convenience while playing golf.
First tea-off at 0600 am & every 8 minutes there after. Allow
4-5 hours for the course.

City Golf
Resort - Yangon
Situated
near the airport, on Pyay Road. The Golf Course is set in 333 acres
and has two 18 hole courses at a range of 7000 yards. The length
of the Driving Range is 275 yards.
Facilities include:

* The Restaurant serving both Western & Asian Cuisine
* The Bar with varieties of foreign liquors, beers & soft drinks
* The Bathrooms fitted with hot & cold water
* The Pro Shop where all golf equipment for hire

Bagan Nyaung
Oo Golf Club - Bagan
It
is located adjacent to the Bagan Golf Resort, 10 minutes away from
Old Bagan and most of the sightseeing points and only 5 minutes
from the Bagan Airport. It is an 18 holes Golf Course.
Mandalay
Hill Golf Course - Mandalay
Located
at the foot of Mandalay Hill near Novotel Hotel and offers an 18
hole course.
Aye Thar
Yar Golf Course - Taunggyi
Set
among 270 acres and just a 30 minute drive from Heho airport at
4,712 ft. The Resort & The Golf Course stand together and offer
golfers a fascinating 7380 yard, well tended 18 hole course.
Facilities include:

Layout. Well designed 18 holes, 7380 yards, well-tended tees, fairways
& greens, well planted and with water hazards & sand bunkers

Mt. Popa
There
is a 9 hole golf course at Mt. Popa near the Mt Popa Resort a hours
drive from Bagan. Golf clubs are available at hotel for rent and
a package can be put together with a stay at the four star Mt Popa
Resort.
Ngapali beach
There
is a 9 hole golf course 10 minutes drive from the beach. Golf equipment
is available for rent at the Bayview Beach Resort.
Please note:
We recommended clients bring their own clubs, shoes, etc. Pro-shop
Club do rent clubs but not at a high quality.If
play coincides with a VIP's tournament in Bagan & Mandalay,
the players will not be allowed to play.
