PHNOM PENH – KOMPONG CHAM

08.00 h Check-in at the boat-pier in Phnom Penh.
08.30 h Welcome on board of R/V Toum Teav and departure for our cruise on the Mekong River. Stop in the handicraft village of Prèk Ta Kung specialized, in plaiting straw mat. Lunch on board before the next stop, in the village of Kompong Krabei, for an excursion to discover the plaiting of the traditional Krama.

KOMPONG CHAM – BOENG KET

Visit of Kompong Cham, it's market, the nearby Angkorian temple of Nokor Bachey and the Bamboo Bridge.
Lunch on board on the way to Han Chey, where we visit the pre-angkorian temple dominating the Mekong and the village of Kôh Krabei on the island in front.
Rest on board, till the stop in Boeng Ket, a small town witch is an important natural rubber processing center. Visit of the factory.

BOENG KET - KRATIE

Sailing to Chhlong. Before the war, many rubber planters lived in this village. Ruins of wonderful old style houses are still spread out around the village.
