Kyaiktiyo (Golden Rock)

Day tour extension from Yangon
Southeast of Yangon, Kyaiktiyo, or 'Golden Rock' Pagoda is a huge gold-plated boulder poised on the edge of a steep cliff. On top of the rock is a delicate pagoda. It is approached by either hiking uphill 10km or by steep roads and a short walk.
